I just wanted to take the time to show gratitude for black women. Often times we hear and repeat that we don’t support one another. Some of us have allowed bad experiences and past times to jade us from buying and building with another sister.
I however must acknowledge that my art and business has only grown due to the contribution that black women have made towards it. 100% of my Goddesses are Nubian. The love I receive from women I don’t know is heartfelt even through my DM’s. I have IG sisters that not only shop we me but we keep up with one another on the regular. We have shared stories, testimonies, advice, and tears through my journey. They check in on me even outside of my business.
If you feel women, Black Women in particular don’t support then I’m encouraging you to re-evaluate self and try again. Ask yourself what’s blocking you from receiving it and how have you blocked someone else? What are you showing them and what have you given? Who are you around? Because you are what you attract. I don’t have haters. I only attract love.
